An event that brings together Heads of State, ministers, political figures, members of NGOs that fight for the respect of the environment and indigenous peoples, the COP 2022 aims to find urgent solutions to climate change, which is a major challenge for planet Earth. On the agenda of this meeting, negotiations, commitments and measures to mitigate global warming whose effects are already devastating in the four parts of the world.
For Africans, this Cop 27, which is taking place on the continent, should be a way to remind the international community that poor countries that emit less greenhouse gases and are the most exposed should receive considerable funds to finance adaptation to climate change.

Initiated at the Rio Earth Summit, the Conference of the Parties (COP) is a meeting organized by the United Nations for the Climate since 1995. It brings a hundred or so countries from all over the world together to talk about the environment and the fight against global warming.
